It dawned on me that I’ve never really said much about the peeps in Reso who have made my life so much more enjoyable and worthy of living. It’s not just about making my life in NUS bearable, but rather, I wake up every morning knowing that there’s always a bunch of people you can depend on when you feel like everything else is caving in on you. The fruity sisters are a blessing themselves, even though they come in a rather weird mixture of characters and personalities. We have the Strawberry sister, who’s on a perpetual high and thus makes for a very very interesting conversation partner. The Starfruit sister, whose sweet demeanour and pleasant disposition never fails to leave a reassuring impact on you. The Cherry sister whom I’ve bonded with over carnivorous feasts and VS models. Besides the fruity sisters, there’s also a very dependable comm whom I’ve grown so attached to. You have people like Sumi, who’d always sacrifice precious time for the sake of pulling things together. And Jia En, who will gladly bear all the ’saikang’ despite his very busy schedule. ET, for his excellent musical abilities and his quirky quotes that never fail to shock everyone. Furthermore, when the night falls, I find it almost impossible to survive without the supper gang, consisting of core members like Chong and Edlina. It’s amazing how we’ve grown to be so comfortable with each other…Ok, probably too comfortable, considering how Edlina and I have been sexually harassing the poor Chong who can only groan about wanting to go home. (TOO BAD!) And we sometimes have guests like Yeow and Joshua, who will never fail to add spice/ditziness/shit (literally) to the table full of supper-lovers. I remember how Mei Si, Edlina and I baked cookies till as late as 3 am in the morning just last Friday and eventually the cookies got bigger and bigger cos we got tired of baking batches of tiny ones. And way before I stayed in EH, I have the ever lovable Eastie gang consisting of Azi, Sumi, Jeremy, Jiayan (who’s a NEL-ie technically) etc. I remembered how we’ve very nearly clawed each other to death on the ride back home in the cab over certain touchy issues. And also, the good times when we laughed so much on the train and everyone around us probably think we’re not very sane people.
When I think about Uni life, it’s hard not to have the word “Reso” imprinted in my mind. After all, it has played such a significant role in my undergraduate days. I’m proud to say that as a group, we’ve truly matured as not just singers, but also as responsible peers that everyone can turn to in times of need. For that, I thank you guys for all the good times.

and contrary to what you’ve written, i am -not- always on a perpetual high, heehee. it’s just that i appear to be on a perpetual high, although there are tons of trivial issues bothering me. -chuckles-
